“NOT ON MY WATCH” ™

Based on the book “Not On My Watch” ™ Connie Rose provides a snapshot of the kinds of things First Responders should look for in regards to Red Flags, Identifying Victims and Resources working with victims of sex trafficking.  In today’s society sex trafficking has become a major public health and social injustice problem, both domestically and internationally.  First responders are often the only professional to interact with trafficking victims who are still in captivity.

Victims of human/sex trafficking may look like many of the people you help.

  • You will learn the classic signs and symptoms presented by trafficking victims.
  • Learn to recognize the combined signs indicators, red flags that will assist you in accurately alerting local or federal authorities for investigation.
  • Key questions to ask a possible victim and how to ask them.
  • What to do know that you have identified a trafficking victim(s).

Connie Rose has been a voice for the voiceless since 2008 as a keynote speaker, trainer, consultant and coach working with non-profits, corporations, healthcare professionals, educators, law enforcement and government agencies.  As a survivor of over 16 years of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, exploitation and sex trafficking all at the hands of a serial sex offender father who was also her pimp. She takes her audience on a journey from absolute loss to forgiveness, understanding and empowerment.  Interweaving her journey with humor, surprise and potent life-lessons, as well as signs to look for and resources, drives home the powerful message and impact that there is life after darkness.
